Embracing Innovation in Dance Education

I’ve been experimenting with integrating digital tools into my dance classes, especially for choreography analysis. It’s fascinating how apps can help dancers visualize and refine their movements in real time. Has anyone else tried using technology to enhance their teaching methods? I’d love to hear what’s worked for you.

I totally get the frustration with integrating tech into dance classes. I’ve tried using apps like Backstage for choreography analysis, and while it’s great for visualizing moves, sometimes it feels a bit clunky in real-time. I wonder if adding a hands-on component with live feedback could help?

I’ve really enjoyed using DanceForms for choreography breakdowns — it’s helped my students identify their strengths. Have you thought about the learning curve for apps like that, though? @gmartin75.
